5 Interesting Wedding Venues in Wales

A brief guide to wedding venues in Wales

These are subjective choices of wedding venues in Wales where I’ve taken photos. Each of these places has its own unique character, influenced by its location, architecture, and overall atmosphere. As a result, it’s difficult to say that one is better than the others. If I were to use criteria like interesting or extreme locations, then this list would be arranged in the way I’m presenting it.
However, if the deciding factor were the availability of a pool where the newlyweds and guests could jump in on a hot day, a different venue would take the top spot.

1. The Shed at Mwnt

The Shed is a transformed barn, exuding a captivating ambience. From its vantage point, one can savour breathtaking sea vistas, Mwnt beach, the Ceredigion shoreline, and the iconic white church of Mwnt. The very isolation of this place is what gives it its enchanting allure and it is one of the most interesting wedding venues in Wales.

Their peaceful atmosphere, combined with their natural beauty, makes Coed Weddings the perfect choice for couples seeking a bohemian-style wedding or a more traditional celebration. In 1951/52, Lanelay Hall was acquired by the County of Glamorgan to serve as the headquarters for its Fire Service. For the following half-century, this historic building remained a hub of activity, housing the combined Fire services of Glamorgan and Gwent.

Undergoing a significant transformation in 2017, Lanelay Hall was meticulously renovated to become a stunning hotel offering a range of unique features and luxurious amenities.
