Why Insole Court is One of My Favourite Cardiff Wedding Venues
Let’s be honest: there are many reasons to love Insole Court – the official wedding page is full of charming details, but it’s the lived experience that truly sells it. It’s elegant, historic, and full of character. But if I’m being brutally honest – and I usually am – one of the top reasons I adore this place is because… it’s close. Like, really close.
As someone who’s been photographing weddings across South Wales – from sunsets in the Brecon Beacons to storms in Tenby – and once even so far out in the countryside that I swear the sheep had GPS… So when I get to shoot a gorgeous, emotional ceremony five minutes from my front door? That, my friends, is the dream.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Insole Court is genuinely one of the most charming venues in Cardiff. Beautiful interiors, dreamy gardens, and light that basically photographs itself. So yes – I’d still love it even if it weren’t practically in my postcode. Probably.
