Festival Wedding refers to a type of wedding celebration that is inspired by the atmosphere and elements commonly found at music festivals. I’m not sure if that’s actually the case. However, Glastonbury is definitely associated with a music festival, and this is where Ella and Robin’s wedding took place.
It’s a wedding theme that aims to create a fun, laid-back, and unique experience for both the couple and their guests. Check out the photos in the gallery below to find out how it was at this wedding.
I captured beautiful moments amidst the rain. Despite the downpour, I continued to work and photographed the event, rain and all. The challenging weather added a unique touch to the pictures, creating a memorable atmosphere.
Rainy wedding day – advice for photographers
Many wedding photographers ask filled with concern: how to photograph in the rain? Don’t worry, fellow photographers. Just keep on shooting. The bride and groom, as well as their guests, will likely have umbrellas, and you can dry off later.
The most important thing is capturing the moments and showcasing those significant yet fleeting moments in the photographs. And the rain only adds charm and uniqueness to them.
Festival wedding – Ella and Robin’s big day
They say you shouldn’t waste your breath talking about the weather, since there’s nothing we can do about it anyway. And let’s face it, in the UK, no weather forecast is ever spot on.
As for Ella and Robin’s wedding, it was a bit of a mixed bag. There were showers here and there, but the sun also came out. Then there was this one long downpour that forced everyone to take shelter in the tents. It was absolutely pouring! But we stayed positive and enjoyed the day because it was such a special occasion.
Once the rain ceased, Splotts Moor Farm transformed into a vibrant playground. Children squealed with delight as they chased bouncing balloons and popped iridescent bubbles. The joyful antics of the young ones brought back fond memories for some adults, who couldn’t resist joining in. The highlight of the games, however, was undoubtedly when the rope snapped during the intense tug-of-war.
