About
Example profile — Heather & Bloom Floristry is a fictional business created to demonstrate how a Wedding Guide supplier profile can look.
Heather & Bloom Floristry is an Edinburgh-based wedding florist creating natural, garden-inspired flowers for celebrations across Scotland. Our style is relaxed, romantic and just a little wild — arrangements that feel as though they have grown into the space rather than arrived in perfectly behaved rows.
We work with seasonal flowers, abundant foliage and plenty of texture, taking inspiration from the landscape, the venue and the time of year. That might mean soft spring flowers for an intimate city wedding, loose meadow-style arrangements for a summer celebration, or deeper colours, berries and textured foliage for an autumn wedding in the Highlands.
Every wedding begins with the couple rather than a fixed collection of designs. We want to know how you imagine the day feeling, which colours you are drawn to, what you definitely love and — equally useful — which flowers you would happily never see again. From there, we develop a floral direction that works naturally with your venue and the rest of your wedding.
Our wedding floristry can include bridal bouquets, buttonholes and personal flowers, ceremony arrangements, floral arches, aisle flowers, table centrepieces and larger installations. We can also create smaller details for welcome areas, seating plans, cake tables and other parts of the day where a little greenery or colour can completely change the atmosphere.
Although we are based in Edinburgh, we regularly design flowers for weddings beyond the city and can travel throughout much of Scotland. From elegant Edinburgh venues to country houses, barns and remote celebrations surrounded by mountains, we adapt each design to its surroundings rather than trying to make every wedding look the same.
Sustainability also influences the way we work. Where possible, we favour seasonal materials, reusable mechanics and designs that make thoughtful use of flowers throughout the day. Ceremony arrangements, for example, can often be moved and enjoyed again during the reception rather than disappearing once the vows are over.
Most importantly, we want the process to feel enjoyable. You do not need to know the names of fifty varieties of roses or arrive with a perfectly organised Pinterest board. A few ideas, colours or even a description of the atmosphere you want can be enough to start the conversation. We will take care of the flower vocabulary.
The result is wedding floristry designed specifically for your celebration: personal, seasonal and full of character, with enough wildness around the edges to make everything feel alive.
A Closer Look
A closer look at some of the ideas, details and combinations that shape the Heather & Bloom aesthetic. This gallery brings together different scales, settings and floral moments, showing how colour, form and texture can change from one part of a celebration to another. Rather than following a single formula, we enjoy experimenting with contrasts — delicate details alongside abundant arrangements, softer palettes beside deeper accents, and carefully considered compositions that still retain a sense of movement and spontaneity. Each image offers a little glimpse into the visual world behind Heather & Bloom and the kind of atmosphere we love to create.
