1. About Wedding Guide

Wedding Guide is an online directory and editorial platform for wedding industry professionals. It features business listings, professional profiles, photographs and editorial articles.

Wedding Guide is operated by Tomasz Zielinski, a UK sole trader trading as Tom Zelinsky. By registering an account or submitting content, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Registration and Accounts

Wedding Guide is intended for adults aged 18 or over who operate or are authorised to represent a business or professional service connected with the wedding industry. Members must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and must not allow unauthorised access.

We may refuse registration or suspend accounts where there are reasonable grounds to do so, including suspected misuse or breaches of these terms.

3. Professional Listings and Profiles

Wedding Guide provides short directory listings and more detailed professional profiles. Members may submit business descriptions, service information, photographs, contact details and other relevant materials.

All new professional profiles are subject to editorial approval. Subsequent changes may also be reviewed. Certain routine updates, including contact information, may be published without additional approval.

Submission does not guarantee publication or permanent inclusion in Wedding Guide.

4. Editorial Articles

Registered professionals may submit original articles relevant to weddings, wedding planning and the wedding industry. Articles should be accurate, informative, useful to readers and consistent with the editorial character of Wedding Guide.

All articles require editorial approval before publication. We may request revisions, correct formatting, adjust headings or decline submissions.

Substantial editorial changes affecting an author’s intended meaning will normally be discussed with the author. Publication is not guaranteed.

5. Content Standards

Members must not submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, fraudulent or deliberately misleading.
  • Infringes copyright, privacy or other rights.
  • Contains threats, harassment, hate speech or discriminatory abuse.
  • Contains spam, malicious links or inappropriate advertising.
  • Misrepresents professional qualifications, experience or services.
  • Is irrelevant to Wedding Guide or its intended audience.
  • Otherwise breaches applicable law or these terms.

We may reject, restrict, edit or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these standards.

Links to professional websites and relevant resources may be permitted at our editorial discretion. We may refuse, amend or remove links that are irrelevant, misleading, unsafe, promotional beyond the permitted scope or inconsistent with our editorial standards.

We do not guarantee particular backlink attributes, search engine rankings, traffic levels or SEO results.

Contributors retain ownership of copyright in materials they own. By submitting material, contributors confirm that they hold the rights, licences and permissions necessary for its intended publication.

Contributors grant the operator of Wedding Guide a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, publish, format and technically adapt submitted materials for the operation of Wedding Guide. This licence also covers reasonable promotional use of published materials, including excerpts, thumbnails and links to published content.

The licence does not transfer copyright ownership.

For published editorial articles, the licence continues after account closure unless otherwise agreed or where applicable law requires removal or restriction. Contributors remain identified as authors where reasonably practicable.

For professional profiles and their associated materials, the licence normally ends when the profile is removed, except for temporary technical copies, lawful record-keeping and other uses permitted by law.

Requests to remove or amend content will be considered in light of the applicable licence, copyright, privacy and other legal rights.

8. Editorial Control

Wedding Guide is an editorially moderated platform. We determine how submitted materials are reviewed, presented, formatted and organised.

We may adjust layout, formatting, headings, image sizes and technical presentation. We may decline or remove material that does not meet our editorial standards.

Editorial approval does not transfer responsibility for the accuracy or legality of submitted information away from the contributor.

9. Free Access

Registration and the currently available functions of Wedding Guide are free of charge. Listings, profiles and articles remain subject to editorial approval and these Terms & Conditions.

10. Account Closure

Members may request closure of their accounts. Following closure, their professional profiles will normally be removed and associated personal account information handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Previously published editorial articles may remain available under the licence described in Section 7. Closing an account does not automatically terminate rights previously granted in respect of published articles.

11. Independent Professionals

Wedding Guide provides information about independent wedding industry professionals. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not a party to agreements between visitors and listed professionals.

Professionals are responsible for their own services, availability, prices, qualifications and business information. Inclusion in Wedding Guide does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of service quality.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Reporting Content and Complaints

Anyone may report suspected unlawful content, copyright infringement, privacy concerns, misleading information or breaches of these terms. Reports should identify the relevant content, explain the concern and provide sufficient information for us to investigate.

We will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include requesting further information, correcting material, restricting access or removing content.

Where appropriate, affected members may be informed of moderation decisions and given an opportunity to respond. We will comply with any additional statutory reporting or complaints requirements applicable to the service.

Contact details for reports and complaints are available on our Legal Information page.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may make reasonable changes to the platform, its presentation and available features.

Where changes materially affect registered members, we will provide appropriate notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, operational requirements or applicable law. Material changes affecting registered members will be communicated appropriately.

The latest version will be available on Wedding Guide.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
